We can have a disconnect with other people that can lead us further into Christian sexual addiction. Over time it seems that disconnect inevitably happens.

For example, when you see a friend you haven't seen in a year and your response is I have all these warm feelings for you and love you, but since we haven't seen each other for so long there is a massive disconnect. It was nobody fault that you became disconnected, it was simply that life happened.

One of the things it says to do in Psalms 111:1 is praise the Lord in the assembly of the upright. I really enjoy this verse because it talks about praising the Lord when other Christians get together. One of the things that I find extremely beneficial is singing praise songs with my wife.

It usually doesn't have to be anything big. Sometimes we will sing Jesus loves me or a chorus of a Christian song that we both know. When I do that it makes a bond or spiritual connection that this verse is encouraging us to have.

I believe, this verse was put in the Bible to show us we need to have a spiritual connection with others. We NEED to praise the Lord in the assembly of the upright and not just for others or God but for ourselves.

If one of your issues in Christian sexual addiction is disconnection you can know change that and have that connection that is vital to breaking free from Christian sexual addiction.

Now once you have that connection you are not trying to fill those things with Christian sexual addiction that many times can play out by looking at porn on the internet. The hole that used to be their is now filled with praise and you don't need to fill it with anything else. You have filled it with good things and there isn't any room for bad things. (4:49)
